We know how busy moms are, having little time to search for the best deals from the best places.
Our 8moms have lined up spa services, hot restaurants, hip jewelry, and more. 8moms, which is brought to you by Kidville, is like your friend with the inside track — if you multiplied her by eight.
What's the catch?
There is none. Our emails are free, and there are no service charges or other hidden fees. You just pay the deal price you see. As long as there are enough buyers and deal tips, the deal is on.
How do you choose the businesses you feature?
In addition to searching for the best deals from the best places, we rely on the latest tips from our 8moms community. Contact us to tell us about a business you would like to see featured on 8moms.
Are you expanding to other cities?
Yes. If we aren't yet in your city, you can still sign up on our email list so that when we launch in your city, you'll be the first to know!
Do I have to be a mom to join 8moms? Do I have to be a Kidville member to join 8moms?
Although our deals are geared towards moms, you don't have to be a mom or a Kidville member to join.
Buying a Deal
I want today's deal. What do I do?
Go to the current deal, and click the "Buy" button in the upper right corner. Enter your credit card number and billing information. Once you click "Complete Order," your order will be placed. If enough moms purchase the deal, it “tips"… which means the deal is on! As soon as the deal tips you will receive an email with instructions for printing your coupon which can be redeemed at the business.
What happens if the deal doesn't reach its required minimum number of purchasers?
If not enough people purchase the deal that means it did not tip, and thus the deal is cancelled. You won't be charged. So if you really want the deal, forward it to your friends and make sure the deal tips!
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.
Is my personal information safe?
Of course. The security of your personal information is very important to us so the data you submit to us is encrypted. See our privacy policy for more details.
Can I give an 8moms deal as a gift?
Sure, just select the “Give as a Gift” box at checkout. Enter the gift recipient's name, email address, and a personalized message. We will send a confirmation email to the recipient for you.
Can I purchase a deal that has ended?
Each 8moms deal is available for a limited amount of time. When the deal ends, we aren't able to take any additional purchases.
What if I don't use the entire value of the deal?
There is no store credit or cash back on our deals so be sure to check the expiration date of any deal you purchase.
Coupons
When can I use my coupon?
Just check your coupon; each coupon will have an activation date printed on it. Most often, you can use your coupon as soon as you receive it until the stated expiration date.
Is the coupon transferable?
Unless otherwise noted, feel free to give your 8moms coupon to anyone. They'll need the coupon, of course, and they may also need to give your name.
Do I need ID to redeem a coupon?
Check the fine print; it's up to the featured business.
Do I need to print my coupon?
It all depends on the featured business. We strongly suggest bringing a printout of your coupon and a picture ID to redeem your deal. Some businesses may settle for viewing the coupon on your smartphone. When in doubt, call the business in advance to confirm their particular requirements.
I lost my coupon. What should I do?
You can print another copy by using the link we emailed you or by logging in to your account.
Refund Policy
I am unhappy with the product or service and want a refund, what can I do?
Call the featured business and explain that you were not satisfied with your experience. Most companies will want to resolve the issue directly.
After speaking to the business if you are still not satisfied please contact us, and we will work with you to find a solution. We want you to be very satisfied with our service and will do whatever we can to make things right.
